I am retired from thirty years of professions in healthcare and now enjoy doing photography in Seattle.
After 36 years shooting with film, I sold my Leica cameras and switched to digital photography in 1999. Since then I have spend thousands of hours and dollars learning how to capture and process digital images.
I have taken five of Greg Gorman's week-long Digital Photography Workshops. Greg Gorman taught me about lighting, communicating with models, digital workflow, wine and good living. I learned color management from Karl Lang and Andrew Rodney; printing from R. Mac Holbert, the originator of fine art digital printing; portrait retouching from Robb Carr; image sharpening and processing; as well as masking and compositing from Katrin Eismann.
