Alexander's Castle was constructed in 1883 for the residence of John B. Alexander and become part of Fort Worden in 1897 where it served as family living, an observation post and a tailor shop. The tower was used to collect rainwater for later use. Deer are grazing under the pear tree. Fort Worden State Park, Washington.
